2010 Calendar of Events/Race Results
2010 was a year of a lot of "firsts" for Miller Motorsports. We started the season running in the Junior class. After the frustration of replacing the front axle every week along with wrestling with the junior carburator setup, it was an easy decision to switch to the senior class and follow the Tobias Silver Tour Series.
On May 29th we threw Clint to the wolves at his first senior class event. It was the 50-lap Spring Spectacular at Shellhammer Speedway with $2,000 to win. It was a very intense day in which he finished 10th out of 22 entries. Six out of the seven tracks on the tour were new to us.
We competed in our last event for the 2010 season on Saturday, September 25th at Linda's Speedway. It was an exciting 50-lap feature with an interesting twist, Richie Tobias thought he'd give the fans an extra show by having a Pit Stop Challenge thrown in the middle. Clint did well in both heats earning him an 8th place starting position, out of the 32 cars entered, for the feature. Knowing that we had to change the right rear tire after 25 laps we were forced to start him out on a not-so-great tire so that we could put our best tire on for the second half of the race, so by half-way he was back to 21st. After getting wrecked a few laps after the start of the second half, he came back from last position to finish 11th for the night.
We are very happy to have finished the season with the following stats:

Speedway Entertainment posted that the class had an average of 30 cars per event with an even more impressive stat of 109 different competitors competing overall for the season. We learned a lot this season and are looking forward to being even more competitive next season!
